Do I need a subscription to use my camera?
No — every camera records locally and streams live to the app for free. A Petech Cloud plan adds rolling cloud video history, smart person/vehicle detection, and multi-camera access, but it's entirely optional.
How hard is installation?
Most cameras are up and streaming in under five minutes — mount it, connect to Wi-Fi from the app, and you're live. Wired and PoE models may need a short cable run, which our setup guide walks through step by step.
What's your shipping and warranty policy?
Orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days and typically arrive within 3-7 business days depending on your location. Every camera ships with a 2-year hardware warranty, and free shipping applies on all prepaid orders above ₹1,999.
Do you offer AMC plans for CCTV maintenance?
Yes — PETECH CCTV AMC plans cover preventive maintenance, camera and DVR/NVR health checks, and priority technical support for both residential and commercial installations, billed annually. See the AMC section on our Services page for pricing by camera count.
Can I return or exchange an order?
Yes — unopened and defective units can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, reach out within 48 hours of delivery and we'll sort out a replacement.
